Nov. 2-3 conference in Philadelphia for utility professionals features practical knowledge from industry leaders on integrating demand response, renewables, and energy storage into smart grids

LAFAYETTE, CA— September 28, 2010 — Utility Integration Solutions, Inc. (UISOL), the utility industry business integration specialist, will host its 6th annual Utility Integration Conference (UIC2010) Nov. 2-3, 2010 in Philadelphia at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

For utilities and ISOs, distributed resources are becoming a notable factor in asset portfolios and wholesale power markets.  But business processes and computer applications that were designed for central generation cannot manage distributed resources. The intent of UIC2010 is to provide a major industry platform where the most knowledgeable people in the business will share their experiences in integrating and managing these new and evolving assets.
