ATLANTA - November 15, 2010 - Turnpoint Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of business and process driven IT consultancy services for the mining, transportation, and utility industries, announced today that Jorge A. Flórez has joined Turnpoint as general manager for Latin America.

Flórez' appointment represents another development in Turnpoint's commitment to maintaining the highest levels of service while expanding global operations. As general manager for Latin America, Flórez will be responsible for coordinating and leading Turnpoint services to mining operations across several continents. In his nearly thirty years in the mining industry, Flórez has gained strong knowledge of asset maintenance process for the mining industry. He excels at identifying, recommending, and implementing solutions to streamline business and affect growth and brings a strong emphasis on process analysis and consultative selling through business analysis skills.

Immediately prior to joining Turnpoint, Flórez was a senior project manager for Siemens Energy and Automation's Mining Technologies and Mobile Mining Solutions in Alpharetta, Georgia, and (from 2004 to 2007) a regional manager for Siemens S.A. Power Automation and Technology Company in Barranquilla, Colombia.
