Roles and Responsibilities
Nancy manages several key client accounts, providing specialized public relations services and program development to smart grid-focused clients. She applies public relations best practices to create and execute strategic communications programs, with a specialty in rebranding and positioning and in launching and growing organizations, services, and products into the electric utility and asset intensive industries.
Professional Background
Nancy’s entire career has been in strategic communications. She has served clients across legal and legislative, insurance, healthcare, technology, and nonprofit fields over the course of more than two decades.
She began in public affairs in her hometown of Washington, D.C. and learned promotional writing inside marketing departments of national corporations and organizations and by shouldering multiple responsibilities at small agencies. Nancy created and ran winning national direct mail campaigns for GEICO and has served both B2B and consumer-facing clients looking to launch brands, increase awareness, and drive sales.
In 2011, she earned her APR from the Public Relations Society of America, becoming one of approximately 5,000 active accredited practitioners worldwide to have earned this distinction.
