Since co-founding The McDonnell Group in 2005, Charlotte McDonnell has served as chief executive officer and chief legal counsel to the company. Charlotte spent the first portion of her career practicing health care law full time, and she is a member of the California, Georgia, and Mississippi State Bars.

Charlotte’s passion for healthcare and children’s advocacy and education issues has been a focus of her career which started with legal work on behalf of disabled, working class citizens of Southern California during the early 1990’s. After moving to Atlanta, she counted the Emory University Hospital as a major client. She also served as legal counsel to hundreds of individual citizens in Social Security disability and Medicare related cases.

Charlotte was a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) where she presented papers on topics related to patient disability. She also served a term in 2000 as legislative chair and in 2001 as president of the Mountain View Parent Teacher Association.

She presently serves as the elected chair of the Mountain View school council. She supports community outreach efforts in the area of breast cancer awareness and fundraising. Charlotte is also an avid landscape artist and photographer.
