Alain Récaborde is vice president of market research for The McDonnell Group, Inc. Since joining TMG in 2005, Alain has delivered customer satisfaction studies, market perception studies, brand research and win/loss and competitive analysis programs for McDonnell Group clients. Alain provides strategy and research-based advisory services to TMG clients with solutions in the energy automation, enterprise asset management, business intelligence, and enterprise software application markets.
For over 10 years, Alain has personally designed and successfully managed a wide range of marketing projects leveraging his deep expertise in market-driven strategy development grounded in custom qualitative and quantitative market measurements.
Prior to consulting, Alain was a senior strategic planner at Dun & Bradstreet Software where he gained valuable technology vendor side experience. He began his career in the 80’s at John Morton Company, a unique Chicago-based marketing consulting firm specialized in advanced market simulation and modeling techniques.
Alain has successfully managed over 100 major strategic consulting projects for a Who’s Who of Fortune 1000 companies or equivalent in various industries ranging from electric utility suppliers, HVAC industry suppliers, software, high technology, financial services, and industrial products. Alain’s research practice has a specialty focus on customer satisfaction and market needs modeling.
Alain earned an MBA from the University of S. Alabama and a BA from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce (ESC), Pau - France.
