Roles and Responsibilities
Marc provides McDonnell Group clients with public relations and marketing communications services. By developing and maintaining The McDonnell Group’s strong relationships in the technology and infrastructure industries and the associated trade media and industry analysts, Marc assists clients in building awareness and reaching target audiences to drive interest in the client’s products, services, and technologies.
Professional Background
Marc brings a diverse range of strategic communications experience and knowledge to The McDonnell Group after a long career serving in agency, corporate and non-profit organizations. With a background rooted in journalism, his odyssey began as a reporter for a weekly newspaper covering local government and community news. He quickly made the leap from that post to a small public relations firm in his native New Jersey, before a long stint managing public and media relations for the U.S. industrial businesses of global titan Siemens AG. Prior to joining The McDonnell Group, Marc directed all communications functions for Atlanta-based non-profit Voices for Georgia’s Children, a policy development and advocacy group seeking to improve the well being of the state’s youngest citizens.
