Third Annual Goshen Valley Classic Charity Golf Tournament at Cherokee Country Club on Oct 13, 2008

WALESKA, GA – July 23, 2008 The Goshen Valley Boys Ranch announced today that its third annual Goshen Valley Classic charity golf tournament will be held October 13, 2008 at The Cherokee Country Club, located in Atlanta, GA.

Goshen Valley Boys Ranch founder John Blend said, “Our first two tournaments saw a generous outpouring of support from sponsors and players. We sincerely appreciate the repeat support of all of our sponsors and friends and we’re looking forward to sharing the mission of the Ranch with newcomers as well during another day of fun and fellowship on October 13, 2008.”

Connie and John Blend of Atlanta, Georgia established The Goshen Valley Foundation in 1998. By 1999 the Foundation had initiated and chartered the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, located in the Appalachian foothills of Northwest Cherokee County, Georgia. The purpose of the Ranch is to provide hope and a family-model home for boys who do not have either.
