Oct. 17 open tournament to benefit foster home for boys ATLANTA, GA – August 17, 2011 – The Goshen Valley Boys Ranch today announced that it will again host its Goshen Valley Classic on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011 at the Cherokee Country Club located at 665 Hightower Trail in Atlanta. Last year’s event raised $80,000. The Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, founded by John and Connie Blend, is a 400-acre working cattle ranch located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The ranch is a safe haven for any boy who has lost his home. The goal of the ranch is to give the boys the opportunity to find a successful and character filled life.
