Roles and Responsibilities
Charlotte is co-founder and majority shareholder of The McDonnell Group. She is responsible for all legal, financial, and private placement activity for the company. Charlotte supports development of company strategy, business development, and customer management programs. She also leads The McDonnell Group’s community support and non-profit activities in keeping with the company’s value of servant leadership. Her work spans a range of business and civic partnerships.
Professional Background
Charlotte has extensive legal, health advocacy, and non-profit experience. She has represented individuals and hospitals in cases related to Medicaid and Social Security and advocated in hundreds of court cases on behalf of disabled citizens.
Education and Affiliations
Charlotte majored in political science and minored in philosophy at Millsaps College. She earned her juris doctorate from California Western School of Law. She was admitted to the bar in California in 1993 and to Georgia and Mississippi in 1994. She is a past PTA president and chair of the school council of Mountain View Elementary in Georgia. She is past member/presenter of HFMA and is she is a member of The Women's Council on Energy & the Environment (WCEE). Charlotte is an active community volunteer and an avid photographer, painter, and traveler. She is also a proud member of the Chi Omega Fraternity.
