ATLANTA – May 16, 2011 – Executive Director Patty Durand of the Smart Grid Consumer Collaborative (SGCC), an independent non-profit group working to foster mutual understanding between industry and consumers on all things smart grid, will play a prominent role in ConnectivityWeek 2011, May 23-26, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.

INDIANAPOLIS (May 16, 2011) - Mayor Greg Ballard today joined executives from Blue Pillar, Inc., an energy asset software and controls company, in announcing it has relocated its corporate headquarters from Alpharetta, Ga., to Indianapolis and expects to hire 70 new workers by 2015 at its new corporate office at 9025 River Road.

DOE’s William N. Bryan’s keynote highlighted the latest federal efforts to address emerging threats to critical energy infrastructure
ATLANTA – May 11, 2010— With encouragement from William N. Bryan, U.S. Department of Energy Deputy Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Security and Energy Restoration, Efacec ACS’ 34th annual users meeting tackled the issues of smart grid security and system operations improvement. More than 90 attendees, representing 55 leading U.S. utilities, gathered May 2-5 in Atlanta for the smart grid industry’s most enduring user group.
“We were privileged to hear fresh security insights from distinguished DOE security expert William N. Bryan,” said Efacec ACS CEO José Barbosa. “It was also a great opportunity to hear customer examples of innovative uses of our smart grid solutions.
